3. Device Permissions and Usage

Chess Clock requires minimal hardware capabilities solely to provide timer functionality during gameplay:

• Screen Wake-Lock: Keeps your display active so the timer does not turn off or lock during a live chess match.
• Audio & Haptics: Plays tap sound effects and tactile feedback when a player toggles their clock.

No recordings, microphone inputs, or audio transmissions are created or stored.

4. Third-Party Services

The app does not integrate with any third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or tracking libraries.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Chess Clock is safe for players of all ages, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect information from children.
